| Hmmm.. so I don't watch this show. But tonight, I was flipping through channels, and noticed it was the season finale, so I left it on. I just want to express this, because I had a serious emotional response to the show... it made my stomach hurt. I can't even express exactly what it is that bothers me. I suppose that these people all enter into this show willingly and knowingly.. But it seems VERY weird to me that these women are "competing" to marry the bachelor, knowing that there are other women that the dude is taking out, and kissing, and taking home to his parents, and falling in love with? Why is this show on tv? And why do people like it? I'm asking a serious question here. I've met so many people who "love" this show, and I didn't really know what it was all about until now, so I didn't have an opinion. For anyone out there who likes this show... could you share with me why?

| So, there's a 500 + acre fire raging behind our apartment in Griffith Park right now... They've evacuated homes a couple blocks away, so John and I are packing up a few important things and are "on watch"... just in case we need to leave too.

| I just can't get enough of this commercial. They play it almost everytime I watch an NBA game, but it is funny to me EVERY SINGLE TIME. I mean it, I laugh aloud, EVERY SINGLE TIME.
